Welcome to Intro to App Design!

Thank you for signing up for our second MOOC, Intro to App Design!

This course is split into two units. The first unit focuses entirely on writing programs using the Java programming language and a program called Eclipse. The second unit covers how to create apps for Android from start to finish using Java and a program called Android Studio.

Now that you're registered, the entire course is available to you. Feel free to work through the lessons and challenges at your own pace. Most lessons have one or more short videos which introduce and summarize the lesson material. The lessons also have text-only sections which clarify and expand on the videos.

If you have any questions while working through the course, you can ask them on our discussion forum, which can always be accessed by clicking the "Forum" link in the navigation bar. That way, our staff and the other participants of this course can respond to your questions and help you resolve any issues you might run into.

We hope you find this course to be an engaging and valuable learning opportunity!
